2018 Russian River Valley MARTAELLA VINEYARD - Pinot Noir

Martaella Vineyard is to the west of Santa Rosa on a small rise surrounding Benovia winery. The majority of the grapes we purchased from Martaella Vineyard were slated to be a part of the Le Russe cuvee in 2018 but a few barrels of one clone - Dijon 943 - were bottled separately. Of the three single vineyard Pinot Noir releases from 2018 the Martaella Vineyard is the most structured and concentrated. There? a seductive element to it now but will really gain its stride with four or five years in the bottle. This is the best bet for your deep cellar and drinking over a long time horizon.
