For Maritana Vineyards the 2020 harvest provided grapes without smoke impact from the fires that affected many areas in Sonoma and Napa. We? measured and repeatedly tasted these wines. The Kent Ritchie Vineyard is one of our earliest sites and basically was harvested within a couple of days of the beginning of the fires in Sonoma in Mid-August. Our small piece of this vineyard is labeled ?Don P- it is "Wente Clonewith probably a tiny bit of ?Robert Young CloneChardonnay interplanted. This is a luscious Chardonnay with intensity and an underpinning of crispness that makes it refreshing. It? very special and we know you will cherish sharing it with friends.
