100% Syrah in 2018 and 2019 it was a blend of Spirit Rock and Cahto Ridge grapes - 2021 and 2022 was entirely from the Spirit Rock Block.

ALDER SPRINGS VINEYARD - Laytonville, California

This is an extreme vineyard source. High in the mountains about seven miles from the Pacific Mr. Stu Bewley has created a world class vineyard source for a number of different grape varieties. My old company purchased Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from him - I am buying Syrah and the crazy Rhône varieties - Marsanne, Roussanne, Picpul Blanc and Viognier. The vineyards sprawl up the mountain from about 1500ft to just under 3000ft.
